Financial Management and Globalization
How companies adapt to the new challenges
The big financial crisis in 2009 has revealed how close the link between the globalized financial and goods markets actually is. Due to low domestic growth rates, more and more German companies seek their salvation in globalization. This, however, fundamentally changes the conditions for their financial management.
The book aims to demonstrate options to master the globalization-related requirements for business management. Based on three case studies, general recommendations for controlling, accounting and financing are derived. The role of new players and products in the capital markets is being discussed, as well as changes in the regulatory environment for companies.
